Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment

Roberts Companies has contract positions for (2) Mechanical Engineers with Rotating equipment experience in the Petro Chemical Industry.  We are looking to fill 2 contractor positions (term  = 1 year).  We need these individuals will be working to support daily Operations with trouble shooting machinery issues and make repair recommendations (strong understanding of API standards).  These individuals will need to be able to execute machinery upgrades and projects.

Sr Civil/Structural Designer

Roberts Companies is looking for a Civil/Structural Designer to work with our In-house small projects engineering group.

This is a long term position with Roberts and we offer good pay, flexible schedule a benefits package.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in steel and concrete construction, design and drafting using AutoCAD 14 or higher
  • 3 D Modeling experience a plus
  • Proficient in industrial, refinery, chemical plant and sand & gravel settings
  • Familiarity with Building Codes, California Building Code, ASCE 7, IBC, ACI, etc.
  • Pipe supports/ foundations in an industrial setting
  • Ability to be a solutions person working on a team.  We are small and require a lot of collaboration but require independent thinking as well.
  • Proficient using MS Office, Excel and Word
  • Civil/Structural design experience with material/solids handling equipment (i.e. Sand & Gravel facilities) is desirable
  • Proficiency with codes
