The successful candidate would provide technical support to hourly lab analysts on laboratory protocols and laboratory information management system (LIMS), maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy, and develop and institute laboratory procedures and practices. This position requires an undergraduate degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related discipline, along with 5 years experience with GC(Gas Chromatography)and 5 years as a laboratory chemist in a petrochemical facility or related work environment. BSME (P.E. preferred), 10+ years of technical expertise in the design, specification, and leadership experience on projects from concept to completion. Position Description Position Overview: This position is responsible for transmission line engineering including detailed design for high voltage transmission projects through 500kv. Depending upon complexity of the project, this position may prepare, provide guidance, or assist in preparing and developing the engineering deliverables for electric transmission projects – including line routing, structure selection & design, plan & profile drawings, hardware & conductor selection, equipment & construction specifications, and all associated calculations. This position works closely with other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design package and requirements. Other duties include developing technical specifications, providing direction and guidance to drafters and designers, directing the flow of drafting and designer duties, insuring design schedules are met, including regularly providing project status update to project engineer. Responsible for handling multiple projects and providing a detailed design package that compiles with applicable engineering design standards and all safety codes.
